| Congratulations! You are the proud owner of an infamous "teacup Yorkie"! I wish everyone that gets so excited over the tiny little babies and just dies to have one, could see what you are going through with this baby. And it is just beginning for you! This is a whole different ball game with this little fella.....as you have already began to see! He will drive you NUTS to be "one of the gang"....HE CAN NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN AND PLAY WITH THEM, THEY WILL UNINTENTIONALLY HURT OR EVEN KILL HIM! His entire life will be restricted to being with you, not allowed to even climb up on something 4 inches high, like a book lying on the ground, because if he falls off and hits his head, it will knock him out. Was he playing with the others when the incident happened to him? I suspect they were playing, running, playing tag, and someone ran into him, bowled him over and he hit his head and knocked himself out....you will have to carry him around when the others are out...he cannot be allowed to play with them....they WILL hurt him....go ahead and spoil him! He is your tiny little baby boy and he is an absolute baby doll! But he is nothing like the others, and he is going to be a TON of work to just keep him safe and out of harms way!!! And he can go through a baby gate without even touching the bars, so be very careful...he will slip away and you will loose him. |

| When it rains it pours. Yorkiemom1 gave some incredibly honest important advice here, hope it helps you. This is why with a mixed breed household, skinkids & clumsy adults, I have a teapot Yorkie. Hope you both get better soon.

| What a hard week for the both of you Wow, I can't even imagine having one that tiny. I'm sure things will have to be different to keep one this small safe. Poor little guy, I hope he feels much better and can adjust to living a life of being more protected and much loved. Hugs to you both.

| I am so sorry to hear about you and your baby. I hope your body heals quickly and that you are soon free from pain. One of my little girls was very small, but Gracie was not nearly as small as Tyler. I'm sorry that I can't offer you advice relating to why your baby was so lethargic. I'm sure that you will give your little boy all of the extra care and love that he needs. I had be even more proactive and protective of Gracie than the other two, but every second I got to spend with her was truly a gift to me. Please take care of yourself. I wish you and your babies much health, love, laughter, and happiness from now on.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | First you get well. Now he will adore your companionship, and Yorkies love to love on you when Mommy is laid up. If you haven't had a BATS test done; I would request this of the vet to help to rule out any underlying liver problems. Protocol states one should be done at 16wks and then 6months. You keep your little one safe like YorkieMom suggested. And you do that BATS test like I suggest....:-)

| I also agree with Yorkiemom1. I bet he was injured by 1 of the other pups or possibly fell off of something. My Prayers are with you both. |

| If what you heard was a long blood-curdling scream, that is an involuntary vocalization that dogs can make when they are having a seizure. I had a senior Maltese that did that twice and they never found out the cause and it never happened again. It doesn't mean they are in pain, it just happens involuntarily just like all the other muscle stiffness and jerking in a seizure. It is such a scary sound. Here is an example: causes_&_treatment I think your pup had a seizure, not an injury. I would be trying to rule out liver problems. I'm so sorry.

| awwwh that is good to hear, hopefuly that will make your recovery easier. Recovery from a bad break is heard enough, but when you have to take care of several pups, that comlicates things, I hope you have a good support system.
