I'm so sorry Kacee was injured. Poor little sweetheart and poor you. I will pray that she has full and speedy recovery. The only thing I could think of to recommend would be a sling, and KJC already recommended that. You would use a scarf in place of the sling. Best wishes to you and little Kacee!

I am so sorry to her your little one got hurt. My Rosie jumped off the chair and did the same thing to her front leg. It look her about a week to stop limping on it. I felt so sorry for her. These little pups are strong little ones and adapt quickly. Between the pain meds and rest she will be back to normal real soon. It is so hard to watch our babies suffering. Hang in there.

Thank you, Connie, for the idea of the scarf. I can do that! I was trying to think what I could use and I will try that idea today. That is something I have.

a friend of mine fashioned a standard umbrella stroller by putting a doggie bed in backwards and using the strap to secure it. She sewed a leash fastener where the head of the child would be and wah lah. These strollers are cheap at Target, Kmart etc. Does not look rediculous either.

Good idea!

I don't see any improvement in Kacee today. I have been applying an ice pack when I can. She has rested most of the day again. I'm just hoping to see some improvement in a few days time, but I'm afraid it really will take longer. She is so good when I put her in my lap and lay her on her right side. She just lays there and sleeps while I have the ice pack on her leg.

Poor baby. Maybe the ice pack is actually making it feel better? Maybe give it a few more days and you will see some improvement. Continued prayers for Miss Kacee.

What a sweetheart! I'm sure she knows you are trying to help her.

Praying for Kacee that she can get back to her walks soon.
