| ![]() I would really watch her because about a year and half ago I put Mac outside to potty and he was walking like he was drunk. i brought him inside and he started swaying back and forth then fell over and was limp i rushed him to the ER and the whole way there he laid on my lap limp, not moving and barely breathing. he ended up in the ER for 3 days because he was extremely dehydrated. they are so tiny so it doesnt take much to get them dehydrated. hope everything is fine :] |

| ![]() Hey guys- first my daughter and I want to thank you for the outpouring of love and support you've given us. I hadn't mentioned this but baby Bella Dolce was a 14th birthday gif t for my daughter, Gracie who is dealing with Depression. Bella has only been with us a short time but has brought so much joy to our lives already. Gracie will be posting here tomorrow. she sends her love and hugs. Well, we got the baby home. She is still pooping green diarrhea, but with more mucus. Not eating, so force feeding her is a chore. She keeps her little lips locked so tightly- its amazing. That's the challenge- getting the food into her mouth. She won't drink water either so we use a syringe and pry her mouth open. Feedings seems to be so stressful to her. She tries to hide and avoid us once we've started to force feed her. Still not playful or responsive much at all right now. Vet prescribed Albon 2 x day. Carmen, I will pick up goats milk ASAP and a heating pad. We r using the snuggle puppy right now. I'm feeling like she should sleep in her bed in my room since I will be waking to feed her every 3 hours. But the only thing is that since she has diarrhea and is not potty trained, she gets up and just trots off to poop. Should I put pee pads all over the carpet in my room or just let her sleep in the bathroom? Needless to say, I am worried sick. I broke down crying at the vet today and I've been depressed most of the day. If only she would eat and drink. She has got to pull through. It is so painful to watch her feel this way. I do blame the breeder, but also my ignorance in not knowing Better. I wouldn't trade our baby bella and will do anything to save her. We need your continued prayers hugs sent to our sweet girl. Hugs and thanks... xoxoxo! |

You are doing everything within your power to make things better, and God bless you for that. Of course you're weepy - you're worried out of your mind, probably exhausted - and wondering what the heck's going to happen next ![]() I personally would have her sleep in my bedroom. But of course you have to be practical! I would put her bed into either a crate or an x-pen. I would line the rest of the crate with newspaper and pee pads and place all that in my bedroom. I think it will be far more comforting - for both of you - to be within sight/sound of one another. You'll probably sleep better too, knowing that she's within touching distance ![]() Good luck, and hugs from Harry + I x |

| ![]() Hun don't be depressed. It would have been a different story is you hadn't been such a good Momma and not rushed her to the vet, but you did. And now you're taking every step to make this little one better. Like Carmen said, get the goats milk and water it down 50/50. I have a feeling that'll be very inticing to the little one. Today is a new day and every day that you help her, she'll get stronger. Prayers that she gets better, and prayers for your healing as well. If you need to cry, cry. Sometimes just holding your pup in your arms and softly crying is the best medicine for sad soul. *hugs*

| ![]() You are doing a great job, and doing everything in your power to nurse her back to strength...and now we all just wait, until our prayers kick in. I agree with the goat's milk, sleeping in your room in an x-pen (or gated area), and frequent feedings. Maybe with the goat's milk you could get a nursing bottle (vs. a syringe), and her sucking instinct will take over? Also, to keep her warm and relaxed (and assuming you are home during the day) could you look into some sort of carrier to strap her to your chest, like a baby carrier? This would allow for warmth, security, bonding, and you being able to watch her like a hawk. Praying hard for baby Bella's recovery.

My furkids Donating Member | ![]() sorry to hear of your little Bella. Sounds like you are doing a everything you can for her....I'm sure it's alot of work but will be rewarding in the end. Have you spoken with the breeder you bought her from? Maybe she will take her back until she is older...

My furkids Donating Member | ![]() I suppose not if she let her go at 4 weeks. but I would at least call her and let her know what's going on...My breeder....in a heart beat she would take her back...but,,,she NEVER would have let her go that early...the law says no puppies sold before 8 weeks...not sure if that is where you live but it is here in mass
