Yes, we are very hopeful for Winky! He's been doing great the past few days on the new meds and CoQ10. No breathing issues and we've kept his activity to a minimum. He is a bit sad he can't play fetch, but we want him to be on the meds for a bit before we even try to let him run around... He's been very happy he's gotten a lot of babying from his momma and his energy level is still good. He's been fine in terms of appetite and peeing/pooping too.

Thanks for the continued good stories and good thoughts!

bchgirl: WSU is like 4+ hours away on the other side of the state, but we have heard good things about the WSU Vet program from a few local people already and will keep them in mind. Winky's team of doctors all seem to agree to let him be on these meds for a while and then check back in a few months, unless symptoms get worse or something else happens... And we're hopeful that symptoms don't get worse.

We had to take Winky into the ER hospital last Saturday night, he just had a terrible bout and had a lot of trouble breathing for more than an hour... He stayed overnight and is back home now, and he's a lot better. It could be that the dosage he's on for his diuretic is not enough.

We are going to go get another ultrasound and see a second cardiologist this week. Please keep him in your thoughts!

Winky wants to says hi and thanks for all the love and care you've given him!

Sorry to hear poor little Winky had a bad weekend. We will continue to pray for him. Hopefully he will feel better after some med adjusting, and it was just a bump in the road.

Awww poor Winky (trying not to get emotional looking @ the pics!)...he looks so relaxed & happy in mommy's arms. Hope he'll adjust quickly to the meds & have no more complications, sending gentle hugs & get well kisses. xoxo

Those pictures just tore at my heart! Winky is such an adorable little guy. I hate that he is going through this. I'm sure it's hard on him, and all of you as well. Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping that all is better soon.
