Yes, we are very hopeful for Winky! He's been doing great the past few days on the new meds and CoQ10. No breathing issues and we've kept his activity to a minimum. He is a bit sad he can't play fetch, but we want him to be on the meds for a bit before we even try to let him run around... He's been very happy he's gotten a lot of babying from his momma and his energy level is still good. He's been fine in terms of appetite and peeing/pooping too.
Thanks for the continued good stories and good thoughts!
bchgirl: WSU is like 4+ hours away on the other side of the state, but we have heard good things about the WSU Vet program from a few local people already and will keep them in mind. Winky's team of doctors all seem to agree to let him be on these meds for a while and then check back in a few months, unless symptoms get worse or something else happens... And we're hopeful that symptoms don't get worse. |
