| Take her to a vet....beg them to exam and treat her and beg them to set up a payment plan. This little girl needs professional assistance right away. If you don't have the money, then find a way to work out payment. I'll say a prayer for her right away. I don't mean to sound harsh...I'm just very worried for this baby.

| Dear Darlene, Have not heard from you for awhile. I was reading your thread and hoping and praying that you will take your tiny puppy to the Vet ASAP. I am Cassie and Muffin's mom, the thread about the Xylitol. Darlene, believe me, had I not taken my girls in to the vet ASAP they both probably would have died. Cassie is still struggling for her life, but she is on oxygen and doing better. It really was the vet that made all the difference. These little ones are the joy's of our lives, but as someone else said, they can be expensive. That is why I feel deep in my heart that anyone who is a guardian cannot afford to be without pet insurance. My girls bills will probably total $10,000 or more. I would need to go into the poor house without insurance. My other Yorkie Merlin lived to 16.5 and never had a problem a day in his life. And I got him from a pet store before I even heard about puppy mills. So in life you never know. It will still be hard to pay off the amount not covered by insurance but not nearly as hard without it. In any case, please please please take the puppy to a vet. From Cassie and Muffins mom, the very very best to you and your little one. |
