There is a behaviorist at the AVS hospital/neurologist's office (Soraya Juarbe-Diaz.) She is on the list you provided. Thanks a lot for that info. We aren't going to pursue that route, and the neurologist agreed. I believe she thinks it seizures or else she wouldn't suggest continuing on the PB. We are going back in 3 weeks for a follow up exam and liver enzymes. She didn't explain why his initial BATs were elevated except that his gallbladder could contract when he's stressed and anxious....and he is a very anxious boy.

Max is little more like himself today. He's a little tired; perhaps overwhelmed with stress. If I could figure out now to upload a video from my phone to youtube...I can post the video of what happened in the car.

Great, glad to hear he is getting back to himself. Sounds like you and he are on a good path having ruled out a lot of things.

Pay close attention when to light turns on. That typical head shake combine with loss of his bladder made the neurologist think it was a seizure. She would have just like to see more to be sure.

Again, pay attention when the light goes on before the barking...he does the head shake. Easy to miss, the neurologist actually pointed it out to me

I have never seen a seizure in a dog before. I have been following this thread and sending prayers that you get good news for Max's prognosis.

The activity in the video looks like my Max's focal seizures. So at this point is everything ruled out? The diagnosis is idiopathic epilepsy?

Keep in mind that is not what a typical seizure looks like. Thank you for your prayers. So far all the news we've gotten is good news

Yes, for now. If no more seizures, or at least milder, less frequent seizures, with the Phenobarb then we can safely assume that.

That looks like a seizure to me. In addition to the head shake, the vocalization sounds abnormal and Lily backs away with concern.

Oh bless little Max he looks so confused by what is happening. I hope they are able to diagnose and treat him. My heart goes out to you both and to all who's dogs have to deal with seizures. Sending prayers and best wishes.

They are both darling. I hope the meds keep him seizure free and that he has no more issues! I am very relieved for you that they did not find anything so far in the testing!

Bless his heart, Max does look so confused & he's doing exactly like my daughter's dog Cole who has anxiety, when he gets scared. Is it normal for dogs with a seizure to bark? I'm continuing my thoughts & Prayers for Max. I know it's so hard not to be able to fix what's wrong, but you are such a wonderful Mommie & you're doing everything that you possibly can.
Lily looks so adorable in the hearts dress! She was concerned for her brother.
