This is what we do with Suki's cat food upstairs. It is up on a counter. Suki can get up there no problem, but Rylie (my pup) cannot. We have found Rylie does not like to go in the basement. Therefore, we have food for Suki down there as well, along with the litter box (I hear dogs like to get into those too :p). |
We don't really have the cats on the counters. They never really jumped up on things since they were kittens. They will be 5 in May! But, it is worth a try! We have a table in the kitchen that we only use for big holiday get together, but I don't want to intice them to think they can jump on whatever whenever. So, I might just get a gate that we can get over and they can too! I have the measurements, just need to find the gate that fits the space! She did good today! It was a rough start but, I kept rooting her on that she can do it and she did! Thank god! |

Update on Basil 1 Attachment(s) She is at her 10 months and counting! She survived her first summer out the womb in Florida! She is still twice a day taking Lactalose 1 ml. Originally she was maxed out on the dose! She has strived so good! She is a big pup now, just over 4 pounds!!! Spoiled as she can be! Me and my fiance adore her so much! She goes everywhere with us! She did go on a 48 hour rondavue and someone found her and gave her back to us. That was a scary time! We did recently do extensive blood work for pre op to bget her spayed and the blood work showed she has blood going around her liver that will not allow her to go under surgury. She hasn't went into heat yet, but I am sure it will be ok! the vet is going to put her on hormone pills kind of like birth control for dogs! Silly, I know! Lol! I will try to keep up with this but with planning my wedding, and taking care of her and my life, it gets alil hard. But I did want to say thank you for all the support that you all have given throughout this time! We appreciate it! |
