| ![]() We exhausted all of our local vet's ideas before going...we had been on IV's twice and this roller coaster ride was getting more and more frequent. My local vet suggested doing an Ultrasound in her office, but if it had shown nothing (which it did), we would had been out the $300+ and still have no answers...I love Texas A&M - even though Gulf Coast is 5 minutes from my house! I hope they can figure out this poor babies problems soon - I know how stressful this cycle can be! |

| ![]() I go to Gulf Coast for surgical and neurological things; but I have been less than pleased with the medical side. I, like you, love A&M and have never had a bad experience.

| ![]() Just got back from the vet...I've read every single post, twice, and can't thank you all enough for the prayers...Apple's numbers were not quite as bad, as last week, probably because I got her to the vet sooner, this time...She was borderline on weather to do IV or SubQ, fluids, so I opted for the SubQ, and brought her home, keeping a close eye on her for any lethargy, vomiting or bleeding...They also gave her an injection for the naseau...She was coughing and spitting, quite a bit, in the ER, seemingly trying to throw up, but there wasn't anything in her tummy, that's for sure...It all came out this a.m....Lolasmom, thanks for the positive feedback about your little one...Based on how things go today, and next week, I'll talk w/her vet about what may be necessary, regarding a specialist...I'm praying this was a fluke, and she is going to be alright...I, also, tend to think it's some kind of food allergy, as I'm sure she hasn't gotten into anything she shouldn't have...I have noticed, in the past, a little bit of spit up, when she was on Chicken, so I stopped that protein...However, she was on Duck, when the first major episode started, so maybe she can't eat fowl (what was I thinking!) Sorry for the rambling, I just need to get to the bottom of this for my baby girl...Thanks, again, to everyone that is praying for her...God listens, I just know He does! |

| ![]() Very happy to hear that Apple's numbers have improved and that you had the option of bringing her home. I will keep both of you in my prayers.
