Oh, I am sure there are fleas around. Yeah...I would not want to be stepping around dog poop either. Maybe you should ask the apartment managers about putting poop stations out and encouraging people to pick up their poop. Certainly would make for a more pleasant living situation.
That is a common thing around here....apartment complexes...I have even seen some subdivisions have them...stations with bags and trash containers for poop.

I know, it was really weird because they are really long. That's why when the vet asked me did they look like a grain of rice or were they long like a spaghetti I said the latter. They are 3-5 inches in length. I also thought it was weird that the panacur was doing absolutely nothing for the worms. I looked it up on 1800 petmeds and I thought it said that it works for most internal parasites? What's the difference between panacur and drontal?

Actually, they sometimes come out in long strings....before the segments come off. Here is a gross pic of one:

I actually came across that picture when I was researching tapeworms and roundworms, but when I looked at the worms in my dog's stool I could not physically SEE the segments...maybe I need thicker glasses and a magnifying glass..

So just to be sure, Teddy got Drontal today and he's had diarriah and vomited, I should expect this right? If he vomits, should I give him nutrical or any other food? He's 14 weeks and weighs 5.5lbs

I do not think the vomiting and diarrhea is due to the drontal. Unless his vomiting continues I see no reason for nutrical. Just keep an eye on him for signs of hypoglycemia, but he is a good weight and honestly I have never had a healthy pup need it. You also want to watch him for signs of dehydration. But...a once in a while episode is not cause for alarm. I would be concerned though that these GI problems seem to have been going on....well off and on it seems.

You are right he has vomited three times. One time I thought was because I overfed him, which in fact I'm pretty sure I gave him a lot more kibble than he usually does and he just basically swallows everything I give him. The other two episodes were the day after the vaccinations and now he's vomiting again. I read somewhere that vomiting is a symptom of tapeworms...maybe he's had tapeworms all this time and I just didn't notice it? I've only had him for about 20 days?

Sorry it's droncit not drontal, although that probably doesn't make a difference.

All types of Tapeworms in Dogs are usually not harmful. If you see your dog dragging its anus across the floor, it is usually irritated due to segments that broke off the tapeworm. Sometimes worms will move from the intestines to the stomach. If this happens, your dog will probably vomit up the worm. Common symptoms include malaise and mild diarrhea.
