| Thank you everyone for the well wishes. We just arrived home from the vet. The doctor gave Max a clean bill of health. He did an exam and eye stain and said the eye has completely healed. He also reassured me that there is no scarring, and added that scarring is usually associated with deeper ulcers or more persistent ulcers that last longer. I was so proud of Max today. He sat still with little assistance for the exam. The doctor and tech gave him gold stars for perfect behavior. No more eye problems

| I am very happy to hear that Max got a clean bill of health today. It is nice to know you don't have to worry anymore about the eye being healed.

Oh, anytime! You would never be a pest. Hopefully it won't happen again. I do have a "recipe" from my vet for wonderful eye drops that, if used as soon as an ulcer starts, often are like a miracle in fixing ulcers! I have dealt with many ulcers and saved them from going further because of these drops. My vet uses them, the EC here does..and so does the opthamologist. I have sent the recipe to other people, but their vets did not seem to want to mix it. No clue why because I can tell you it is totally amazing. They keep you busy though...the first 24 hours you put drops in every hour...the next day it is every two hours...then, after that, I think it is either every four hours..or four times/day. Forget offhand...just know it is busy work but well worth it! If you want the recipe, PM your email to me and I will send it to you. You can share it with your vet.
