Thank you everyone for the well wishes. We just arrived home from the vet. The doctor gave Max a clean bill of health. He did an exam and eye stain and said the eye has completely healed. He also reassured me that there is no scarring, and added that scarring is usually associated with deeper ulcers or more persistent ulcers that last longer.
I was so proud of Max today. He sat still with little assistance for the exam. The doctor and tech gave him gold stars for perfect behavior.
