| Update BamBam's condition hasn't changed much since the last update, but he's still doing really well. He's not off of the oxygen quite yet but they are pretty confident he will come off of it at some point late this evening. If he is doing amazingly well in the morning, he will be allowed to come home in the afternoon. This is not expected but is possible. If he isn't doing amazingly well then they expect the latest he'll be home is Friday evening. Either way they are pretty confident that he'll be back home by the weekend! His journey won't be over at that point, he will still need treatment with antibiotics, diuretics, and a possible sedative once he's home but those can be administered from home once he is stable and doing well. For the fourth time today I heard another vet express that he should NOT be alive right now and how truly amazing this little guy is. My tears of grief are slowly turning into tears of gratitude and relief. He is absolutely my little miracle baby. |

| Update BamBam has been off oxygen since 11p and is doing very well. He's responsive and struggling to get away from the staff when they take his temp or give him meds! A very good sign. He is even able to take oral meds now without his system going into distress. He'll be home either tomorrow afternoon-ish or Friday morning! I can't even express my joy and relief! |
