i sent her a message yesterday telling her about my experience with ava; how i almost lost her and u guys helped me get her back in spite of the large bill.
she sent me a message with this info.

I wanted to let everyone know that I am gathering strenghth to fight for Max and his memory. Max should have never suffered the way he did.

The original vet has refused to help in any way to pay anything towards Max's vet bills. He did refund the neuturing fees.

I now owe the other animal hospital about 4,500.00 for the five nights Max stayed there. They really did try to save his life and make him comfortable. We had hope but at the 72 hour mark they realized that Max was not going to live a normal life.

I was fine with the idea of Max being blind. I knew I could live with this. Sad, but I could live with this. The main problem was that Max could not hold his head up. It would fall back from neurological damage. He could not stand on his own.

He had bad episodes of paddling like he was trying to swim away or run away from something bad. It was a nightmare.

On Friday night I stood with a friend who has four yorkies. We decided to put Max to sleep. Early Saturday morning around 1:00 am, we let Max go.

I AM ANGRY....

Yesterday I started to create graphics for Max and his cause. I got Max a Facebook Page and a gmail account. I am beginning to organize.

I do plan to sue the vet in small claims court. I do plan to picket his office. But most importantly I want to create an awareness for other Yorkie puppy owners to be very careful about the vet they choose and know the dangers of anesthesia for their small dogs either for spaying, neutering or getting their teeth cleaned.

There must be a better way.

If you know of anyone who can offer me some legal advice that would be great. If you know of any groups who offer finances to pay for medical bills that would be greatly appreciated.
