| ![]() Have you taken her to the vet? Maybe she has LP and she is carrying her leg?

| ![]() I would take him to the Vet, Milo did that and it turned out to be hip dysplasia, all dogs present differently it could be nothing or it could be something I would go to the vet just to be sure. |

| ![]() Definately time for a vet examination and maybe an xray. Don't let it go -- needs to be checked soonest.

| ![]() My Holly was not putting pressure on her left paw. Brought her to the vet - they took an x ray and she had a broken bone in her left paw. I suggest you bring her to your vet and check her out to be sure. |

Don't wait to see if this will resolve itself, please take your baby to your vet and have them look at her. It may be nothing, or it may be that your baby is in real pain. Each time mine hurt himself all he wanted to do is for me to hold him and make the pain go away - it's heartbreaking when they are hurting and my little guy has been through so much in such a short period of time and both were freak accidents - go figure. ![]()

| ![]() Please listen to these ladies. Take her to the vet. Toby started limping (not walking on three legs) and I assumed it was a pulled muscle. That was on a Friday night. The next morning I had him at the vet and he has luxating patella (LP) in his left rear leg. It's very common in small breeds. I am by no means an expert as I have pestered a few of these knowledgeable women a lot lately and between them, the vet and the orthopedic surgeon, they have put my mind at ease. Toby was/is overweight and we are working to get the weight off. He has lost 3/4 lb. in 2 1/2 weeks and we are still working on losing. I'm sure it's a combination of things but in 3 1/2 weeks time he is finally showing improvement. He's on a diet, he's on Rimadyl for inflammation and he's now on a glucosamine & chondriton supplement. AND he's getting some rest. He is back to his feisty little self so I'm hoping we are on our way to a full recovery (although he will always have LP.) Good luck and please keep us posted. IF he doesn't get a whole lot better, we are probably looking at surgery that will cost between $1,900-$2,000 (what's $100 when you are talking that much money!) But so far he's improving more every day thank goodness.

| ![]() I came home from school last Thursday to my little guy doing the exact same thing. We went to the vet Friday and he was diagnosed with stage 4 LP in both knees (but one was worse i guess?).He is having surgery on the really bad leg this coming Monday. |
