![]() So with Cancer it is best to do nothing in your opinion? Is that what you are saying? Forget about taking them to a vet, to a specialist, and try to treat them and provide quality of life? Best just to do nothing. The dog diagnoses with Cancer according to you does not have cancer. Are you a Psychic Healer?

![]() So you recommend doing nothing, or taking them to an Auto Technician. Seriously, you need to stop giving advice, but at least 99.99$ of the people here have more G2 (Intelligence) than to listen to the medical advice you are heaping out.

![]() To the OP - I am so very sorry that your precious little one has cancer. It is such a dreadful disease. I agree with those who have mentioned seeking the advice of a specialist. Sending ![]() ![]() ![]()

Where have we heard that line before? To the OP, I'm sorry your thread has been hijacked. I don't know of any specific treatments, holistic or otherwise, that you can use. But I highly second the recommendation that you see a specialist. More than anything, comfort should be at the top of your list of concerns for your pup. You are right, at 4 years old it isn't fair (though there is no good or fair age for it). I wish you luck.

Some times it is kinder to put a dog to sleep than let them suffer. "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me. Do not break my spirit with a stick, for although I might lick your hand between blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me learn. Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when the sound of your footsteps falls upon my waiting ear. Please take me inside when it is cold and wet, for I am a domesticated animal, no longer accustomed to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by our side and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life. And, my friend, when I am very old and I no longer enjoy good health, hearing and sight, do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having any fun. Please see to it that my life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw that my fate was always safest in your hands."

![]() Just wanted to thank all of you for your words of encouragement and advice. I have gone and purchased the k9 immunity, and my doctor thinks that this is too far for an oncologist. he has 2 spots on his lungs, and has already had cancer come back to the limb where he had removed the original tumor by amputating the fingers, etc. I actually did call a holistic vet by me to see what they think. Thanks again for all of your thoughts. This is most helpful. I will also look at the websites you have suggested. These are most helpful. I don't know why today, but I feel a little more hopeful that he'll be stronger through this. I just don't want him to suffer and as long as I can strengthen him to get a little more time that is great. I was told there is no way to cure this though ![]()

![]() I am so sorry to hear of your little guys cancer ![]() have you looked into any holistic treatments at all? when i was first researching raw diets for my guy, i came across many stories of people with dogd with cancer that were helped by putting them on raw diets. I can't remember at this point how far along the cancers were, etc, but it might be something to look into. sometimes cancer thrives the more and more chemicals we put into the body. i speak from my own experience as i am a cancer survivor...it wasn't until i stopped taking medications and started eatting a strict, non-processed, organic, mostly raw diet that i went into remission! also, a holistic vet might be able to work out a diet plan with suppliments for you. i know with humand, high doses of vitaminC have been known to work. please do not try this with your guy without talking to a knowledgable vet first though, as i am not a vet...just trying to brainstorm some ideas for you. good luck and kisses to your little guy.

![]() Hi, Thank you-I have called a holistic vet just today and ordered a few supplements (just natural) to help keep his immunity strong. I hope to get some more help soon but we plan to cherish every second we can with him. Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I think you are right-no chemicals is the right way to go! Best to you as well! Mary-Alice

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | ![]() personally i would still want to see an oncologist just so i knew i took every possible avenue. i would want someone else, other then my general vet go over the x-rays and biopsy results from the toe amputation to make sure clean margins were taken in the first place. Also, was a chest x-ray taken before the amputation? just curious. i'd make appointments with the oncologist, hoslitic vet, and acupuncturist. good luck
