To the OP, I'm sorry your thread has been hijacked. I don't know of any specific treatments, holistic or otherwise, that you can use. But I highly second the recommendation that you see a specialist. More than anything, comfort should be at the top of your list of concerns for your pup. You are right, at 4 years old it isn't fair (though there is no good or fair age for it).
