Thank you for posting the update on Carlo, what fantastic news! It is great to hear that Carlo is doing so well. I have to say that next to my very own Boo the Boxer, sweet Carlo is my most favorite "honorary yorkie".

I, too, miss Steve's posts. I very much appreciated his wit, his humor, and his spunky attitude - kinda reminded me of a Yorkie

. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his posts and his hunting adventures and his pics. I couldn't have said it better than Manolo's did in her post:

It always seemed like he was more than generous with his donations for pups in need; like Roriee. I miss his posts and am glad to hear that Carlo is doing well.

Just got an e-mail from Steve and wanted me to share the following information

Let all of them know that we plan on having Carlo around for a long time. He is one strong old man. He jumped the 5 foot fence yesterday when he spotted something sneeking near the property in the woods. Was either a Coyote or some other varmint. Maxine could not ask for a better protector. He was over ina flash, but always stays near the house. One call and he came back, but came in thru the gate. LOL Use old guys......

Carlo goes in for his check-up this week but, no Chemo.

Just received an update on Carlo:

Just got back from the Blood test. Looking great. Next week he gets his 6th Chemo shot, and he gained 1 pound as I am cutting back on his food, and he is always looking for food because of the Prednisone.

Have a great 4th weekend.
