Thank you for posting the update on Carlo, what fantastic news! It is great to hear that Carlo is doing so well. I have to say that next to my very own Boo the Boxer, sweet Carlo is my most favorite "honorary yorkie".
I, too, miss Steve's posts. I very much appreciated his wit, his humor, and his spunky attitude - kinda reminded me of a Yorkie
. I thoroughly enjoyed reading his posts and his hunting adventures and his pics. I couldn't have said it better than Manolo's did in her post:

He served our Country as an Officer in the Marine Corps. He donated thousands of dollars for pups in need one being Rory. And when he would hunt he would turn around and donate that meat to local shelters. Tell him we miss him and pray everything goes well with Carlo and to send us some pics.
