Mary, thank you so much for sharing Carlo's fight. Today he took his new oral cancer Drug, Palladia for the 3rd time. No ill effects from it at all, and he is tolerating it real well. He is now maintaining his weight as the Prednisone dosage is now 20mg every other day. I would like to get him back down into the 120's so it will be easier on his joints. He looks like a powerlifter now. Just wish it was not so hot and humid because he misses his walks. I took him for a shot one at 0530 thinking that would be better, but all that happened was I was attacked by misquito's and almost hit by a drunk.

Thanks Lisa. It was great that Mary did this. Carlo is looking forward to his "Yorkie" Cruise tomorrow morning. The weather is supposed to cool down and no rain in sight. Maxine has a little Sailor Suit, and all we could find the big Seadog to wear was a large bandana with boat anchors on it. Both have hats, and naturally cool shades that they will not wear. Carlo on a boat will be quite interesting. I am sure he will not want to sit on the deck but will want a seat like Maxine.

Just got back from the Vet. Blood test, Urinalysis, and Exam. All look outstanding. Carlo actually lost 1.5 pounds since his prednisone was decreased to one every 48 hours. That is good as it will be easier on his legs. He looks great. he was tired from his boat ride yesterday and his long walk down Michigan Ave yesterday, but back to his normal self today. Next week, another blood test, and they he will not need to go back for 6 weeks. Cancer Free. Now if only there was some Doggie Grecian Formula 44 for his grey. I mentioned to Marge yesterday when we were downtown, that if I was single, and 35 years younger, Carlo would be the perfect babe Magnet! She agreed, and then punched me.

Carlo is very lucky to have you and Marge. I have to agree with you about him being worth it. Our precious pets bring so much love, life, and happiness to our lives, and we are so lucky to have them as treasured members of our families. I am so happy that he got such a wonderful report at the doctor today. It gives me great joy to hear how he is thriving.
