Roxy has very high stress/anixety. She LOVES food, she when I prepare her meals, she usually goes into a mad Indy 500 race around the living room couch (over and over) until I call her in to eat. The past couple of days she has either just stood there waiting or sat on the couch waiting. When we came back this morning and I was making her food, she started to pace/circle the small area in the kitchen, so I could tell she may be feeling a little better, bc the 'old' Roxy was trying to emerge again ![]() She gets pysuim fiber in her food, and believe me, things are flowing. I really hope this isn't her back ![]()

She will eat until I realize there is a problem and I have to pull food. The changes looked chronic, but could have been recent and acute. A Spec cPL was done when no vomiting was present and it was not elevated. A SNAP was done when vomiting and it came back abnormal. I lean toward acute, but who knows. Anyway, her life is food. She loves to eat and not much will stop her.

did vet mention tramadol at all? NO NSAIDS as that can affect liver but I know you know that I hope you get some blood results soon any way to find out what that shot was and if it was convenia? I just worry about the shots now since the fda warning came out Last edited by dwerten; 06-11-2010 at 02:27 PM.

| ![]() no. I went out of town and hubby took over on thrs night. I prepared their food, but just left out the extra supplements (liver and probiotics and cosiquin) which I normally don't give on the weekends anyway. He said she was fine. Didn't want to eat Thrs night, but was fine on Friday morning. Hubby wouldn't give them anything but there food. I came home on Monday night and could tell she was quite. We woke up on Tues and she was shivering and that's when I really saw it all start. Hubby says she was playing with TJ over the weekend and didn't notice her weird behavior, until I mentioned it and he started to look. He agrees with me something if off, and he says she wasn't like that over the weekend. She likes to hang on the couch arm, so she could have fallen off when no one was home...just trying to think what in the world happened ![]() |

The shot I believe started with an S or C - he told me the name, bc I wanted to make sure it wasn't a Steriod. What is Convenia for?

| ![]() Cerenia, not Convenia. It's an antiemetic. Did you say you would do a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory? Opioids are often recommend for liver compromised dogs.
