Retro Doggies in MI (aka Olga's rescue) deals extensively with shunts.

I think it was ruled out when Randi posted the numbers in the November thread. I believe there's a laundry list of other possible health issues, but not LS.

I may be wrong as it was a lot of posts...I may be a little fuzzy on a few details.

I don't remember exactly. I think the bile acids were slightly elevated and MVD was a concern.

How long has it been since she posted? She don't need to deal with all this drama when she is already doing what she can for her dog. She has been to 3 different vets. Here is a copy and paste of the message I received from Randi.
i will keep you updated. but do let them know that i will not be there again ok? i want them to know that their actions and attitudes made me want to leave
The only reason I am posting is because she has asked me to get this message to everyone.

Brendah, since you are in touch with Randi, can you tell us if it's worthwhile to check on rescue options for Roriee? I mean, it's already Friday afternoon and I'm not sure much could be done over the weekend.

I am trying to gather any links and post of information that are more local. Please keep the "information" comming. I WILL get that all to her. Thanks to everyone that is trying to get the best help to this baby.

YTNR would be the best in her area to take on and AAI and MVD and LP dog, although Randi has this info already...
The main issue that was from way back in November is that Randi doesn't want to give her up to rescue, but now that it has turned into an urgent and critical situation for both Roriee and Randi, Randi doesn't want Roriee to go to any random rescue...

Again, while RDR would be great, there is distance and it may not be safe or even possible. The next best would be YTNR, but Randi has got to call them and get it going, no more wasting precious time....

I believe Randy lives in Marrietta Ga, its 3.53 hours by car to Nashville Tn and thats where, I forgot her name, but she took Teagan, and she is with YTNR. Not too bad of a drive and YTNR has the funds and people that would help this baby. They helped Teagan with his severed spinal cord! Can anyone remember her name. It's Friday afternoon. Yes, this is exactly why YTNR is the next viable solution. I know they have the funds, and they have the experience with an AAI baby.
These are not the issues, it is Randi that has to be on board, she is the only one that can make the call
