| ![]() I just purchased a 6 month old Yorkie and found 4 white worms in her stool. Can this wait until Saturday to bring her to the vet or do I need to bring her later on today? Thanks ![]() |

| ![]() You can go to the pet store and get de-wormers your self. Safeguard or Panacur-c will get rid of pretty much everything, it is safe and mild, it comes in a pouch with powder , you mix in the food. It comes 3 doses you give over the course of 3 days and you do not see worms anymore ! ![]() You can also give Pyrantel but it is not as broad as the other 2 i mentioned. I would start it right away ! XOXO

| ![]() Since this is a new puppy I think it would be important for you to make an appointment with a vet for a well puppy checkup. When you go, hopefully soon, take a stool sample and they will check it and treat it accordingly. IMO, when you actually see worms in the feces then that means the puppy already has pretty serious infestation of parasites and they can actually do damage to the puppy. You may also be dealing with more than one type of parasite, and it is better to know for sure, so a good checkup now could save you a lot in a few weeks.

| ![]() I would get this puppy to the vet. Since it is a new puppy it should be seen anyway. Worms can harm your puppy very quickly. Please keep us updated and good luck with your new puppy. |
