| Thank goodness you were only gone a few minutes! I can't imagine how you must be feeling. And your poor baby! I'll keep him in my prayers for a full recovery.

| Just unbelievable. Have you informed them yet that his leg is broken and the cost of all of the vet bills you expect them to cover? I just cannot imagine how that can happen unless they were complete idiots! You have a long road ahead of you and your little guy to recover. I am wishing you all of the best and I hope you keep us posted. I know you are exhausted. Poor little guy!

| OMG...this post gave me chills just reading it. That poor baby. As a groomer they must know dogs like to wiggle away getting a bath. Shame on them for not securing him better. They definitely should be paying that vet bill, and they should have known right away something was terribly wrong. Dogs don't cry like that for nothing.!!!!! |

| The grooming salon absolutely must pay for the vet bills. Have you spoken to them about it? I would recommend you have the xrays reviewed by an orthopedic vet. Broken legs in Yorkies and other toy breeds often need surgery (pins) to heal. The sooner it is done the better the chance for healing. |

As I mentioned before, I'd strongly urge you to consult an orthopedic vet before settling up on the vet bills. As I mentioned in my earlier post, often broken legs in toy breeds require pins/surgery to heal. Not to scare you, but sometimes they don't heal and the leg has to be amputated. That is worse case scenario and usually only happens when the leg isn't set with pins initially and the opportunity for healing has passed. Just make sure you don't sign any sort of waiver, etc. if they agree to pay for your vet bills until you are absolutely sure he won't need surgery or any further treatment. | |
