Think about it and give Melody a chance at life... Please My heart is breaking for this puppy. She's needs help, now. Please if you are reading these posts, please get her on some medication and contact me. If you can't afford the meds, get them and I'll give you the money when I pick up Melody. Please give her a chance... she's one of God's little creatures. Find it in your heart to do the right thing.

Please give Melody a shot at life... Good Morning, I just got up to check and see if you have responded to my post. It's 12:37 AM and I see you still haven't been online since yesterday at 1:21 PM. I'm going back to bed and I'll check first thing when I get up for any news. All I ask is just give this little one a shot at life. Melody is the one that is suffering at the present time and all I want to do is..... Help Please just give her a chance. She's been sick for sometime and needs you to think about her well being. I know it hurts to see her sick but you're unable to provide the necessary care she requires. I have excellent references and I'll give you names and phone numbers of people to call and check my reputation. Very well known people of our community. If you get online, either post here or send me a PM. I can be on the road in 15 minutes tops. It will take about 3 1/2 hours to drive. Just let me know, I'm here to help for now. Kathleen

Kathleen, Thank you so much for your offer. I called the vet about the medications but the vets where closed, and they will be closed today as well.. Melody had a real hard time tonight, she woke up screaming twice. I am up now at 3:32 am cause I can't sleep anymore cause I am so worried for my Melody. I did contact a couple rescues. Only heard back from one and they want me to ship Melody to them (Nashville) I thought about it but I hate the idea of shipping her. So..if you would come get her that would be a blessing cause I know she is suffering and I hate to see her this way. She is my first yorkie and I love her so dearly and want what is best for her. I will pm you my number and everything so you can contact me over phone and we can work out something. God bless you for your kindness and thank you so much for this wonderful offer for my Melody. She deserves this and I will not be selfish. I want whatever is best for her. ~ Krystal

Bad weather is a problem.. Plan B Update on Melody: Current weather conditions for her area: Issued by The National Weather Service Reno, NV For Mammoth Lakes area 3:41 am PST, Sun., Jan. 10, 2010 ... FREEZING FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING... A FREEZING FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING. * TIMING: WIDESPREAD FOG AND FREEZING FOG IN THE VALLEYS WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING BEFORE LIFTING AROUND NOON. * VISIBILITY: ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS FOR MANY AREAS AND LOCALLY DOWN TO LESS THAN 100 YARDS. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... VISIBILITIES IN FREEZING FOG WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE... WITH A LIGHT COATING OF ICE ON ROADS POSSIBLE. IF DRIVING... SLOW DOWN... USE YOUR LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS... AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU. I talked to Kaystal and she was more then willing to let Melody get the vet care she requires. The only problem is the driving conditions going up and back. I'm having surgery this coming week and my daughter feels like this would be a little too much to handle with the drive. I'm going to call Kaystal back and let her know what's happening. I have to wait a little while until I can contact someone for medications. I'll try and have meds called to her and pay for them myself if the vet will do this for me. I'll call and let her know what the plan will be. Just maybe with the medication she will respond and she can keep her. Kathleen

| Maybe we can find another YT member that can at least go get her, and then get her to one of the rescues mentioned? Anyone closer in that area? Is this a reputable rescue? : http://www.yorkshireterrierclubnc.org/rescue.html

I was thinking the same thing Linda, what kind of rescue would ship a sick puppy. I think she has been given a list of Good Reputable Rescues and only hope she contacts one today.
