| I'm so sorry. Perhaps they did give her too much medication after wards. I have to have Lola spayed in the next little while and I worry about her, she's 5 lbs though. When I called the vet and spoke with the lady at the desk she said they don't require to do bloodwork before hand but will do it if you want. They don't require everyone to do it because she said it's an extra expense and not everyone wants to spend extra money. RIP Lexie, say hello to Stormy for me  |

| I'm so very, very sorry. I know how you must be feeling. A couple of years ago I took the vet's advice to have a small lump removed from one of my little Cairns. She said it could be a mammary tumour & better safe than sorry. Although they phoned me to collect her she was stone cold & never came round properly. I took her back every day for 3 days saying something was wrong but they wouldn't agree & on the third evening she died at home. At the time of the op I'd paid for a biopsy on the lump they removed.. when I got the results it had been benign. The guilt haunts me still. I'd had all the bloods done, just wish I'd ignored the vet's advice & decided to wait & see if the lump grew. xx Meggie |

| Can't stop crying... Thank you all. I came in to work today and its helped having everyone here respond. As Lexie was a unique dog in too many ways she stood out from all the rest and I'm not just saying that. She really did. She would pose for pictures and was really the only peepad trained dog I had. She was the smallest and the loudest. Now my house is so quite without her there!

| I lost a pup on Christmas Eve this year and I was devastated. A friend of mine sent me an email telling me that God needed a yorkie angel and she sent me the following link that has some beautiful writings.
