| Maci is sick I need advice Maci is 14 months and wt is 5.5lbs Last week she began throwing up off and on. Food or yellow froth then she would be fine for a 2 or 3 days then she'd throw up again and be fine again. Thursday, i could tell she was not feeling well threw up a few times Then got really droopy and I took her to the vet because she seemed different...My vet did blood work: BUN 16.3 creatinine 0.6 total protein 4.8 glucose 117 alt (gpt) 11 ALP 24 he said that was all fine CPL pancreas was positive...?? he said not real bad prob just from the tummy irritation?.... did an xray and could see "guessing" an acorn in her tummy and gas due to fermentation... but not blocking nething, did an enema 3 injections and med to take home for the Nausea, called it Pancreatitis and said watch her for any changes come back in...went home she slept and was still droopy for a few hours then got up starving ate and played like crazy dog thurs nite and all day friday... $430. later and today she was gagging licking at her lips over and over never did throw up gave her some of the black charcoal like stuff for nausea she wanted outside and ate some grass like a mad woman......came in and has been sleeping not gagging nemore when she gets up seems ok... She has not passed the acorn.... She has a mad fascination with frogs and did get ahold of one bout 3 weeks ago that made her real sick...foaming throwing up etc took her in got injection for her nausea and vomiting... This all really scares me do any of you think this sounds like anything else other than what my vet is watching...I am only feeding her a boiled ckn breast carrots and brown rice mixture for now...Sorry so long... Should I do anything else? I feel like something is not right for some reason...

| Sorry, I wish I could help. Hopefully someone will come along with good advice, but if it was me and you think something just isn't quite right go with your gut feeling and take her back to vet or get a second opinion. Hope all goes well.

| We went through the same thing with Cooper a few weeks ago it was throwing up clear foaming stuff off an on for a day called the vet (after hours when I called) they told me to watch him, I was terrified that maybe he had blockage from like part of a nylbon/rawhid that maybe he had gotten when we visted my brothers......anyway it subsided later that evening and was better then like clock work on the next evening he started throwing up again......only this time it was constant and a lot of volume. We took him to the ER vet, did the blood work, and xray and NO blockage but they also seen a lot of gas build up. The have him IV and a shot for anti nausea.....it really really scared us to death. I had also started giving him Pedilyte earlier that day just to keep from being dehydrated.....anyway after the vet visit he was better and exactly 1 week later, the next Friday night same thing all over with the throwing up the white foamy stuff. Anyway we finally determined it was either the pork sweet potato food we had him on (even though he had been eating it for several weeks) OR it was some liver treats we had been giving him, because both times he had had those during the same episode. We through both out and has been fine every since. After the blood work and xrays were done the vet told us they thought it was truly like a stomache irratation, something that he had ate that just did not agree with him.......can you think if maybe there is some type of food or treat your baby has had that has caused this? Anyway Cooper has been fine every since but it was scary.
