| Ten-eleven% fat is still too high in a pancreatitic crisis. It may work for some, but some vets would want it much lower. They may even want it lower than the HA which would be hard to find. Even if the fat content was okay in the CN, there is still the concern of the type of protein. It is probably best to stay with non-meat protein. He could do well on something else, but I'm not sure I'd want to take the chance. If I was going to go to any meat, it would probably be chicken.

| Flaxseed can be really difficult to digest. It is also considered a high fat content food and can be a trigger if your baby is really sensitive.

| many dog foods have flaxseed in it and it is not good for allergy dogs either which bums me out. Also no fatty acid supplementation for dogs with pancreatitis issues as while rare they can trigger pancreatitis |
