| Suzi is not feeling good :( My 18 month old Suzi has had a runny stools and tried to vomit several times throughout the night , however it was just dry heaving, nothing came out. She has been laying around most of the day resting, however, moves to place to place , making herself comfortable on the couch to the bed, or bext to me by the computor . Thankfully, she has not had any more diarreah, or vomiting. I tried to get her to drink water, but she refused, however, she ate a pepornoni stick Lean, and little bits of flour tortilla ,and tiny pieces of cheese, she was fine, no throwing up . She still wants to rest. At one time she perked up and played with the puppy. however, layed right back down . The puppy vomited once yesterday for the very first time ever > She is just 3 1/2 months & was also laying around all day too. Today the puppy is okay, now Suzi is not. But the puppy did not have the runny stools . I have know idea what this is? OR if it is any related to each other! Both my babies are going through something They don't go outside . it is too hot, and the pup is too young . They , do however, try and scratch or find stuff underneath the stove > However, I have never seen them be sucessful !

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Poor kiddos ! Are they feeling any better? It sounds like it could be a little tummy bug, or that maybe they both got into a little something. Maybe try a bit of pumpkin and maybe feed just mashed potatoes or rice for the next 24 hrs and see if it resolves? I sure hope they feel better soon, I'm sending some good thoughts your way .

| Here's an update on Suzi . My brother came over this afternoon who she absolutely loves, and she perked up seeing him. SHe was jumping up to say hi to him, and he had hurt his foot badly. She tried to help him feel better, sensing that he was in pain , knowing somehow that he was not feeling well either. But after he left, she was again sleeping , and needed to rest. All of her energy left her, and later she had a bit more , tiny bits of dirreahea. She did , however, drink water. Thankfully. I cleaned up the runny stools and was not upset at al when she missed the dog pads. Other then this, she seems to be slightly better. I hope the worst is over, and i do think it is a tummy upset. Their is no blood in the stools, and no more heaving or vomiting, however, she is not eating her kibble. But she will eat anything I have , But i do not want her to eat that, for fear it will only make her feel worse or upset her stomach. The puppy is ok. Just does not understand why Suzi won't play with her. I have white rice, but i'll have to make certain it is still good and not spoiled. I have had it for a while in the pantry. I know to give it to her plain. And cool. I can pretend to eat it, Suzi loves to eat anything I eat. Suzi is a good sized yorkie , however I still worry about my baby every time she is not feeling well. I just hate it when any of my darlings are not feeling good. There is no mucas in the stool or anything like that either. I hope she will be ok, and she is getting over it.

| Suzi is still unwell She did , however, have a semi large , normal sized stool last night, however, then more smaller runny stools! Today she is laying around again. I have made her white rice . It is too hot for her to eat , and waiting for it to cool . Could I mix some canned food in it for her? a little bit ? See if she eats ? I am very concerned that she has not eaten . I gave her bread yesterday , and she eagerly ate that. I think that is why she had a normal poo . I just am getting more worried about Suzi . She has not thrown up at all anymore. But not perky. She wants to sleep. It looks like she is drained , and it is obvios she is not feeling good. But she is alert to where I am, and when the puppy makes any sounds. My brother is coming over later, and I'll se if she is happy to see him again. That will be the test. Because he is her best buddy.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I think I would take her in since she has not felt well for a couple of days now. She may need medicine to settle her tummy and fluids. Hope she feels better soon.

| She's not dehydrated , And the runny stools have been light , for the most part. Can somebody Tell me what type of Pumpkin to buy ? I can't remember? i'd like to try this . Suzi is bhaving fine, I gave her canned chicken, instead of the other , canned. I noticed the other one had vegies in it, which did not help her , what an idiot i was to give this to her along with mixing the rice? SHe ate the mixed rice up along with the chicken , which was small , it had more rice . I know she needed that , and the moisture. SHe is behaving normally , now, barking at people she hears outside, and not acting lethargic. I can lift her fur up and it goes down normally , indicating that she has not lost fluids. Suzi has been very sick in the past with both , and taken to the vet, she did not need iv fluids then , and was even more ill then. I was in a care accident on the way to the vet , staying up all night with her, and ran off the road. SHe is not so bad off this time, and I am praying home treatment methods will help her overcome the diarreaha.

| I use canned Libby's pumpkin. It doesn't have any additives.

| Ok, I have stayed on the lean ones , and half of one 90% FAT FREE. Use them for treats only, however if their as bad as this no more . I have given Suzi the canned Pumpkin , Libby's flavor. SHe would not touch it, plain or with rice mixed in. So I added a small amount of her canned chicken too, then she ate, at first a little hesitant, then with the puppy and son out of the room , Suzi ate. Here's hoping that her tummy can and will settle down.
