Suzi is not feeling good :(

Thank you ! Suzi is walking around with her little stubby tail down Probably because my teenaged son is having a fit, he's developmental disabled , and that has Suzi upset > So all in a Saturday at our home!
I hope to god this works for Suzi! Now if their were only magic answers for teenagers!!

SHe is not so bad off this time, and I am praying home treatment methods will help her overcome the diarreaha.

canned chicken is too high in sodium so if doing canned make sure to strain and rinse real well -- best to get organic chicken from costco and cook ---chicken can upset tummy if they have a food intolerance to it though

the canned chicken is her dog food, that is rated as a 6 . Today, Suzi is active , playing with the puppy more . SHe seems to be feeling better. However , last night she had a few more runny stools . What a mess .
Today, I am NOT going to give her any special to eat. No canned food , or rice, any of that . I am going to leave out her kibble, and fresh water. See how it goes .
I think I am trying too hard to make her well. AND possibly aggravating her symtoms?

I think it has been too long and I would hope last night was the end of her loose stools. If it happens again, she really should see the vet. Different foods could be aggravating her system, but I wouldn't think that about rice. Pumpkin actually makes Ellie stool softer, so I think there are better ways...

What does the vet usually do for her when this happens?
How about an rx food for a few days and maybe something along the lines of Metronidazole or Tylosin?

i would go with tylosin vs metronidazole as tylan powder is a lower dose and metronidazole has to be compounded for toy breeds but tylan is real bitter tasting so you will have to make capsules. Try this as this finally worked for my dog i soaked the kibble so it was easier to digest as she was having the same issues with the chicken and sometimes too much pumpkin can give them diarhea as well so go back to basics - kibble soaked down a little

We have used both here and I actually don't mind Metro. Not that I would run to it with one loose stool, but I think after awhile it's time to bring it out. Tylan is fine if it works for the particular dog. Metro is available in liquid form in Ellie's dose (6 pounds) and we weren't sent to a compounding pharmacy. Actually, we had to do that with the Tylan until an awesome YT'er recommended that I get the powder online and just estimate the dose.

Suzi's stools are firming up I could never be so happier! They are not all the way back to normal, however, so much better then what then solid liquid. some of it was back to solid , mixed with a little of both > however, yesterday evning Suzi was very energetic, and happy again ! Chasin the puppy and playing again.
I am sooo exhausted from cleaning up these messess, and then the puppy paws , Oh well, I am relieved the worst is over. My babies are after all my babies, i'd do it for my skin kids, I see no difference
