We have used both here and I actually don't mind Metro. Not that I would run to it with one loose stool, but I think after awhile it's time to bring it out. Tylan is fine if it works for the particular dog. Metro is available in liquid form in Ellie's dose (6 pounds) and we weren't sent to a compounding pharmacy. Actually, we had to do that with the Tylan until an awesome YT'er recommended that I get the powder online and just estimate the dose.
