Please help!!!!

I understand your frustration with all the vet bills! I got winston 2 months ago and we are at the vet weekly it seems. We racked up another $200 yesterday on x-rays, meds etc because it appears he has pneumonia now. When I first got him he slept so much it freaked me out but it turns out that is normal. I am a first time puppy owner so every little thing scares the crap out of me. I even pulled out my stethescope (im an RN) to listen to his digestive and lung sounds haha. Good luck with your baby!!

Me too. Especially with a Yorkie pup. How old was Winston when you got him?

He was 3 months but I'm pretty sure he was taken from his mom too early. I broke the rule and bought him from a store but in my defense no one told me I wasn't supposed to until after I did it haha. He is almost 5 months now and has been on meds since I "rescued" him. (rescuing makes me feel better about the situation). How old was your baby when you got her? The vet originally had me worried it was a collapsed trachea at an early age but fortunately the tests proved otherwise.

No worries...my baby is away from her mom way too early. She's just now 8 weeks old. Her mom was a rescued yorkie (member of the family). So when the pups were 7 weeks old and the vet said they were "clear" she sent mine on her way. My pup is the only one having any problems out of the litter. I hope we are getting over this hump here...She is now "barking" and playing so I think it's a good sign for the better. Only time will tell.

Hope she is doing better. My Cali has a lot of tummy problems, bloody stool etc and they give her metrodrozinale and it really helps. Hope her recheck goes well.

Thanks so much for checking in on her. Today has turned out to be a good day finally for both of us. She seems to be feeling 100% better. She has started to come back to her spunky self again. She is growling, barking, and walking around. She did have some blood with her stool again earlier today...Stool was still brown and loose though. But just a little bit ago she had a brown stool with no blood. So, I'm hoping we are on our way to recovery.....

Glad to hear your furbaby is doing much better. By the look of things, it seems like she might have gotten some rat poison in her. Sending prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
