| Update on Dante Dante is home for good and has all his shunts are out. He' doing very well. He's back to giving me kisses and (trying) to play with the other dogs. Of course the doctor told me that I have to keep him getting to playful for at least a week. I'll take him back in four weeks for his last set of shots if nothing comes up before then. And yes, thier are leash laws in our city, but they are only small fines and if she's willing top pay the $1300.00 (WHICH SHE DID), than the little city fines would be nothing to her. Thanks for all the kind thoughts and helpful words. They meant a lot to me and helped me through a difficut time. Angie & Dante

| How is little Dante this morning? I was thinking about him all weekend long. When we first got Ivan he was 3 months old and already weighed 35 lbs. My husband had to have the first of three major back surgeries so we ended up boarding him with a german shepherd breeder who runs a grooming service. When we picked him up she said he was a natural retriever. He kept picking up her yorkie puppy and bringing it to her. I was horified then and am even more horified now that I have yorkies of my own. What a scare that would give me. I can't imagine having to go through what you just did. Hope all is well. Hugs to you and your furbutt! |

| I'm so glad that Dante is doing so much better. I am also glad that the woman did take responsibility for the bills without hesitation. Let's hope that she has learned a lesson and will obey the laws...they are there for a reason.

| What an awful experience to have to deal with. He's lucky that he didnt break his neck and die. especially when they are that young. Well make sure you give extra love to him from us!! |

| Yay! I'm so glad to hear that Dante is doing so well, and that your neighbor paid the bill in full. I hope she has learned her lesson and will be sure to keep her dog on a leash from now on.
