BANNED! | Thats terrible, I pray Dante will be okay and get to come home today. The neighbor should pay the vet bill and any meds needed as far as Im concerned. It's way to scary to walk a small yorkie let alone have a tradgedy like this happen in your own backyard, ugh...Dante my prayers are with you!! |

| Dante just came home tonight!!! EVERYONE, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR KINDS WORDS, THOUGHTS, AND PRAYERS. It meant alot to me that so many people here care and know just what to say to make me feel better. Here's my update... I went over to the ER this morning to pick up Dante and they told me that he has to go over to his regular vet today because his lungs were worse and his blood counts were off. -So he spent the day stuck on IV's, ----but only to make him better.. They told me to come back at 6pm tonight and that he may be able to go home or maybe it was back to the ER tonight... Good news!!!! His lungs are looking better. He pee'd showing that his little bladder was not punctured. (Yahooo), but his blood counts were way high still, but it may (most likley) be because of the trama. So they sent him home me with pain meds, antibotics, and his IV shunt still in. And if all goes well through the night, I'm to call in the morning and take him to get his IV shunt out. He said that the blood count was high but that he thinks it will come down fast once he starts to get better. He sounded concerned, but not too concerned. As for the women and her dog. She came over this morning and apolized and was crying about the dog. She paid the bill right away and told me to give her any remaining bills and to in touch with her to let her know how Dante's doing.. She's a pretty nice women, but has she learned her lesson on keeping her dog on a leash??? I hope so. It cost her (so far) $1300.00. I'm so petrified now, I won't leave my other dogs outside on a leash for more than a second. My husband thinks I'm crazy that I can't leave them for a second, but I just can't risk something happening again to any of my pets. Thanks again to eveyone and I'll keep you all infomed on his progress. Hopfully in the morning he will be alittle more like himself ?? All the kind thoughts meant more than I can say.

| Wow! That is wonderful news that Dante gets to come home with you. We will continue to keep Dante in our thoughts for a full recovery!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to hear the woman knows enough to pay the bills for you. Hopefully she learned a listen here. It is so scary with the big dogs sometimes and what they can do to our little ones

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Wow......I scrolled and scrolled until finally I got to your post. I am glad to hear that Dante was able to come home with you; hopefully the comfort and familiararity of being there with you will help to get his blood count back to normal. I will continue my prayers til I hear all is well. Hope you have a calm and good night. I'll check back tomorrow. Hugs
