| Oh goodness. She needs to see a vet immediately and altano-axial subluxation/instability need to be ruled out.

| How old is Zoey and is she showing any signs of this being painful? Does she cry when moving her head? Sedrick is a Antlo Axial Subluxation survivor and unfortunately not much was known 4 years ago about this condition. You need to get her to a vet ASAP and in the meantime, try and keep her quiet and ABSOLUTELY no roughhousing and for sure no jumping. If she is in the instability stage it is much easier to treat and surgery may not be required. Please don't hesitate, if it is AAI you need to get it treated immediately before a subluxation occurs. If I can be of more help or answer any questions, please let me know.

| I would take her to the vet ASAP....but depending on her age could be an inner ear problem causing the neck to go sideways....I had a corgi do the same thing and then my 13 year old yorkie ended up with the same thing but is now better. There is a nerve in the ear that can cause this and no it isn't the sublextion thing So I'll pray it's the inner ear and not the other! Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

| I believe that by a xray and knowing what you are looking for you can see it and dx as AAI/AAS |

| Yes, an xray will dx it as well as physical findings.

| update? What is the update on your yorkie? My Yorkie has been tilting her head for 3 weeks, does not act like she is in pain, but this happened since she was picked up by her neck, so I know it is at least a sprain... |
