I hadn't read this story until now. I'm now sitting in my office bawling my eyes out, I hope and pray no one comes in! What a sweet baby. Bless your heart for loving him and making him warm and happy and loved his last months on earth. It doesn't take but a moment for them to work their way into our hearts for eternity.

What a nice reminder that there are people in this world that truly love animals!
I had forgotten about Quinn until today. I'm sad that he is gone, but he had a very notable life. Angels in dog and human form watched over him until the end.

Gosh! I have been crying happy tears since I first read he was found and then rescued and then how well Quinn was doing and then I kept reading and now I'm crying sad tears. What a story! I kow Quinn is doing great now and is happy but it makes me sooo sad. Thank you Lissette and Kit! You both and Quinn will always be in my thoughts!!!!

i am so sorry to hear that; what happened; was it the dental cleaning or any procedure that he couldnt handle. this is so sad; thank you for taking care of him for few months; at least he was cared for at the end. god bless and may he rest in peace.

Kit, I know how heavy your heart is, but know that you made Quinn's last days ones of peace and happiness. Some day, you will be reunited with the little fellow and he will be able to give back to you all that you gave him. God bless you.

Kit,
I initially read the story when it was first posted then returned today.
I am so sad that Quinn has gone to the Rainbow Bridge but you gave him a wonderful home full of love. I too adopted an older Yorkie, Harley was 12?, that no one wanted. He, like Quinn, had sight and hearing problems but that did not stop him from enjoying life and me from adopting. Now they both are well again and romping around waiting for us.
