Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali Update Cali had a rough night. She finally settled down net to me at 4 am. I fell asleep as hard as I tried to stay awake and when my dtr came in to my room at 6:30am Cali was sleeping next to me so I think she slept there for the couple of hours. I said time to eat and the other 2 ran like usual to the kitchen and Cali came pretty quickly, not her usual speed. I gave her a little of her canned food and she ate it and tried to get more off her sisters bowls. So at least she is interested in eating today. She is walking not as hunched over, but still slowly. I am happy for this little improvement and hope as the day goes on she gets better and better, if not I will get her in to my vet this afternoon. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. It has been quite a scare so soon after losing Maya.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Thanks, Cali has had 2 small meals and kept them in and down. She is still acting lethargic though and looks pretty sad, but she doesn't walk all hunched over and sit with her head hanging down. She seems to be able to rest pretty comfortably. So I am hopeful she is on her way to recovery. Once again thank you so much for all the prayers and good thoughts. YT has the greatest people on here.

| Patti, I'm just seeing this. How is Cali doing now? This sound similar to some bug Bubba had last spring. I go to a holistic vet, so he gave some medicine and herbs but also encouraged chicken broth, a limited diet for a couple days and then even chicken soup - homemade best. Plus, during this time we discovered this most amazing herb combination called Early Comfort. Hope she is doing better and back to her normal self soon

| I will keep Cali in my prayers. I hope she is doing better. It can be such a helpless feeling when our "babies" are sick. |

| Patti~ CeCe has the same symptoms without the bloody stools. the vet treat w/sq and same injections yesterday and prescribed flagyl and another med to calm her tummy. She rested for most of the night, had a bit of diarreah and this morning vomited her meds. The vet should have test results this am......We just can't figure this out...it came on so suddenly! I'm praying for your little Cali, too.
