Suzi has also had this... It was a tummy upset. She was placed on double strenth antibiotics and Flagel , withing a few days she was back to her old self! Prayers for Cali. Hoping things will be fine, and Cali just has a simple tummy upset.

I will keep Patti and Cali in my thoughts/prayers! Glad she went on to the vet.....I bet they can get Cali on some meds to correct the problem.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. I took Cali in (Thanks for posting Michiko) and after 2 hours of waiting she seemed a dad better and the vet wanted to not rush to Xrays and bloodwork since she had no temperature and when feeling her tummy she did not seem to be in pain. So she gave her fluids SQ and 2 shots one was pepcid and the other to calm her tummy down. Within 30 minutes of being home she started shaking again and is hunched over. I may end up back at the ER if she gets worse. I am hoping the shot will kick in soon and she can settle down. For those that babies had similar things did they look and act really sick? Cali last threw up at 5pm and only had the one bloody poop around 4. I don't want to panic but she seems so uncomfortable. Please keep her in your prayers.

If you touch her abdomen, is she in pain?

There is no way to know what is going on without blood work but the pain and hunching over, excessive vomiting and bloody stool could go along with your first guess.

Or maybe just a virus or HGE.
Are her gums pink?

I'm so sorry Cali is sick! I will be praying for her! It is too bad the vet didn't do bloodwork. Hunched up and shaking seems to me that she is in pain. Poor baby. I will be watching for updates. Call me if you need someone to talk to! I'd call you now, but just in case she's better and you are dozing, I wouldn't want to wake you. I hope and pray that is the case! Hugs to you!

I am still up with Cali. She slept for an hour with my dtr but when she woke up she was all hunched over and restless. She lays down for 5 minutes then slowly moves to another spot.
I am going to try and take a little nap and see if she will sleep some more. Thanks everyone. I am so tired I can hardly see straight so prorbaly lots of typos

Patti, how is Cali this morning. I hope she is doing better. Seems like when these guys get sick they can really get sick but then all of a sudden snap out of it. Good Luck and let us know. Blessings.
