| Update on Izzy Hi everyone, Thank you for your advice and concern. Izzy is doing much better. The vet gave him a shot and some antibiotics to take for the diarrhea. He also gave him the canned food with rice and chicken. Since he's had this issue before, we have to go back for bloodwork to look more into the problem. The vet wants to make sure that he does not have any other issues. He said that Izzy was for the most part healthy and he was not dehydrated...so I guess the pedialyte helped a bit. It was very stressful, I hate seeing him sick. With them being so small it is evern scarier. I think the food I'm feeding him is good. Im feeding him Newmans Own Organics. This is the only food that he really likes. He's been on this kind for about 6 months now.

| Thanks for the update on Izzy! I'm so glad he's feeling better! Sounds like a good plan to do further testing since it's happened before. |

it is probably giadia. Take a stool sample to the vet asap. Giardia is contagious to people. IT IS VERY EASY TO GET. THE DOG COULD HAVE ATE SOMETHING THAT WAS CONTAMINATED, STEP IN WILD ANIMAL FECES, DRANK CONTAMINATED WATER ETC. MY MIA JUST HAD IT AND SHE IS NEVER EVEN OUTSIDE OR AROUND OTHER DOGS.
