I'm just seeing this and am so sorry you and Izzy are having to go through this. It sounds like you've received some terrific advice from YTers and that you're doing everything you can.

Give Izzy a hug for me and tell her it's human therapy!

Thanks for keeping us all informed. Obviously, this is something that any one of us could face without notice.

Ahhh what wonderful friends I have..love you all.

OK my husband (Rich) and I went to see our baby this morning and when we went into the clinic everyone said you are Izzy's mom?? lol..she is soo cute...geez all our Yorkie babies are adorable.

OK - good news guys - keep those prayers and good vibes coming. Her temp went down from 104 to 102 and she did not THROW UP at all today. Her stool is a little soft yet but our vet thinks that if she does not throw up at all by tomorrow morning and she eats something then we can bring her home then.

I went over everything that Jodie and Lauren talked to me about with my vet and told her about Susan Davis and she is in complete agreement. So right after our visit with Izz we went to the grocery store to pick up all our food for her menu. That girl is going to eat better than us..lol

Also she was a little sleepy when we came since our doctor gave her a little pain meds to help her tummy not hurt. But when she heard her mama's voice she picked her little head up!! We got to hold her and I cleaned the buggers out of her eyes..hehehe. She is watching everything in the clinic. She has next door neighbors..lol...3 cats and another poor baby Maltese that has been in with ppancreatitus 13 times.

So hopefully my next update tomorrow will be when I bring our Izzy home.

Thank you so much for the update. I am so happy to hear the Izzy is doing well and she gets to come home tomorrow. I am sure you cannot wait. In the mean time, it sounds like she is charming all the techs and doctors. What a sweetie.

I'm so relieved to hear Izzy is getting better so fast. Don't worry about the people food. Toby ate Royal Canin mixed with chicken, steak, rice, you name it and he lived to 17! To me feeding dogs only dog food is wrong. Our family had 2 Kerry Blue Terriers, one lived only to 13.5 but she had cancer. The other one died of old age at almost 16. I'm glad you are going to the diet serious. We had to do it with Toby but it was mostly people food!
