| I'm glad it's minor, they said that he'll be able to come home the same day.. so thats a good thing. I guess if it wasn't so minor they wouldn't have told me that.

| i'm glad they figured out what it was! It sounds pretty minor to me. My mom's poodle had a few cysts removed in her life and it was no big deal. I'm sure Pippin will pull out great and be happy that his little bump is gone! |

| Update: Dropped Pippin off at the vet this morning. It was a hard thing to do even though I knew I'd be seeing him in a few hours. He was struggling against the nurse to get to me and I had to bite my lip to keep from crying. The vet called with an update, he's fine and will be back in my arms by 4.

| Picked Pippin up about an hour ago. He's wearing an e-collar and it's uncomfortable for him and all he can do is cry. Anyone have any suggestions that could stop his crying. Should I take the e-collar off for a little bit and then put it back on again? I'm confused but listening to him whine like that is breaking my heart.

| Perhaps he would be happier with a baby onsie on? As long as he doesn't dig at them it should be fine.

| I was told not to feed Pippin last night because it could make him sick. I just couldn't handle his crying because it was making me cry. At about 7:30 when my mom got home from the airport(she went to vegas) Pippin was still crying and I cooked him up some white rice using just water because I can't use chicken broth. When it cooled off enough I gave him a little bit in a small bowl and he ate it right up. I waited about half an hour and when he didn't get sick I gave him some more. That was what he wanted all along, he was hungry and he was wobbly still from being knocked out. I was up almost every hour with him because he couldn't get comfy with that e-collar around his neck. I spelt sitting up most of the night (well when I did sleep) because he curled up between my legs for a little while. Finally around 5am after making a trip downstairs and outside to go pee he finally curled up as close to me as he could get and slept until about 7:30 because he heard my mom up. Well she took him from me and went to put him outside and then he went to bed with her and I went back to bed and slept until 9:30 I'm happy to say that he's more like himself today. He's eating and drinking almost normally, and he's almost back to normal with going outside. I put him out 3 times today, most of the day he slept. one day down, just nine more to go before he can take off the e-collar and get his stitches out.

| Pippin had his stitches out today. No more e-collar around his neck. It only took about a minute to take them out and he's happy that he doesn't have to wear an annoying plastic collar around his neck anymore. He also had a nice long hot bath, which he loved cause he got to play with his toys. When bathtime was over he got his teeth brushed and his ears cleaned out. He's a happy little guy now, totally back to normal.
