I was told not to feed Pippin last night because it could make him sick. I just couldn't handle his crying because it was making me cry. At about 7:30 when my mom got home from the airport(she went to vegas) Pippin was still crying and I cooked him up some white rice using just water because I can't use chicken broth. When it cooled off enough I gave him a little bit in a small bowl and he ate it right up. I waited about half an hour and when he didn't get sick I gave him some more. That was what he wanted all along, he was hungry and he was wobbly still from being knocked out.
I was up almost every hour with him because he couldn't get comfy with that e-collar around his neck. I spelt sitting up most of the night (well when I did sleep) because he curled up between my legs for a little while. Finally around 5am after making a trip downstairs and outside to go pee he finally curled up as close to me as he could get and slept until about 7:30 because he heard my mom up. Well she took him from me and went to put him outside and then he went to bed with her and I went back to bed and slept until 9:30
I'm happy to say that he's more like himself today. He's eating and drinking almost normally, and he's almost back to normal with going outside. I put him out 3 times today, most of the day he slept. one day down, just nine more to go before he can take off the e-collar and get his stitches out.
