I agree with you. Lady has had some hypo episodes because she is on insulin and it is very obvious. She staggers around and acts drunk. Idiopathic epilepsy is so hard to diagnose since there is no test. It's basically a process of elimination. I pray that seizure meds help Winston and the two of you can return to a normal life. Please keep me updated! | |

| I forgot to add that if you do start Winston on phenobarbital, make sure you start him on Marin at the same time to protect his liver. Marin for Small to Medium Dogs (30 Tablets) |

| Okay...I have a meter...I poked him several times around the tail area and ear. I can't get a good drop of blood from him. He won't let me do the lip...such a wiggle worm. I'm stumped again. I poked my own finger to make sure the lancet was working right...yep it works...my glucose is 112!!! Any other suggestions???

| I have a friend who used the tail prick method on her Maltese and I think I recall she said she used a warm washcloth first to bring the blood to the area, then kind of "milked" the area after she stuck Missy to get the drop of blood. |
