| 17 month old female Yorkie w/ occasional diarrhea Hello Everyone, I'm new at this... I wanted to know what can I do for my Yorkie (which has diarrhea), yesterday she was fine, but today she doesn't look good. Her stomach is empty (i can feel it, when I touch). I've read about the boiled chicken, but I don't know if i need to boil it just by itself or can I add a lil salt? Thanks, Betsy |

| Boiled Chicken Boil a boneless breast by itself, you can cut it up very small and then mix with some plain white rice. That always helped my little girl when she needed it. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Make sure she takes plenty of water as well as diarrhea can make her dehydrated. Watch out also for any hypo signs as she seemed to have an empty stomach. Have you figured out why she had diarrhea? I think it will be best if you can deal with the cause (either stress, new diet, parasites, illness, etc) so you can ensure she'll be better. Adding pumpkin also helps in bulking up her poop. Hope to have helped a little. Wish your darling well...
