Im so sorry to hear about Toby, but glad he is improving. He will be in my prayers. This just breaks my heart.

Toby is just an amazing little one.... I read each post.. and was so glad to see such great progress with him.. I am praying he is going to be just fine, he he has lots of love from you and sounds like you have a great vet.. anne

Tobes had a good feed at 11:30, another 3 big syringes full. He walked again! Even more than this morning! I am letting him decide how much exercise he is up to and he is trying so hard. After the 11:30 feeding he walked in several little circles, always to the left, so I suspect part of the damage is going to cause him to walk in circles for a while but we will get over that hurdle too. Toby is determined to get better, he is fighting as hard as he can. Aren't dogs the most amazing creatures! They have so much courage and determination. We had another go at the water bowl, got a little up the nose but he sneezed it out. He stayed awake quite a while after the exercise...he seems to really like it when I massage him and he laid for a good 5 minutes, eyes open, just enjoying the massage! Don't stop praying, I have a real live miracle going on here...I Wish you all could see it for yourselves, watching this little man fight and seeing the progress he's making confirms without a doubt there is a God and he is listening~!

I remember someone else's Yorkie tangling with a horse and he was so so injured, but he did make it! So keep up the good work nursing him back to health

will take time..it may be that his body has 'shutdown' to conserve all his energy for the healing process..he must have taken some knock! what a little toughie

It will take time, Just hang in there. Last year my sisters yorkie got hit in the head by a car. He was really bad , was at the vets over a week , When she got him home , He couldnt walk, she had to carry him. He couldnt even get up the use the bathroom, vet told her to keep him confined so he could hurt himself when he did start to try to walk. When he did finally start he held his head sideways all the time.
Now he has fully recovered and just a fiesty little guy.
He was so bad at first she really considered having him put to sleep but just couldnt do it and now she is so glad she didnt.
So Just give in some time, Sending prayers for you and him that he make a speedy recovery.
