| Okay, I've done this before. I'm wasn't on the computer, but left it logged in to YT. Someone else hops on my laptop for a minute and then leaves. Maybe that 's what's happening. She may be really busy taking care of him, or doing research to help explain, or any number of things. She could also be having computer issues. It happens. I'm sure she'll update us as soon as she can.

| I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Oh goodness, I don't even know where to begin guys - it's half good half bad I am SO SORRY that it has taken me practically all day to get an update to you guys, I feel just TERRIBLE about that. I guess I should of mentioned when his vet appointment was - and it wasn't until 3 p.m. this afternoon. Hubby had a super important meeting and was so upset that he couldn't make it with me (he tried...he REALLY tried) so my aunt went with me instead because I was just too darn nervous to go by myself. Anyway, she has been here at my house with the babies and I up until about 20 minutes ago, and I wanted to wait until she left to post an update as I knew that it would take me a while to type everything out and explain it all. So, here we go. For starters, when we walked into the vets office there were of course other dogs in there and Stedman immediately tried to mark (mind you his belly band was OFF of him). Well, he lifted his leg and was trying so hard and FINALLY after pushing for I don't know how long, it came out, but it was only "drip.......drip.......drip......." - very slowly like a dripping faucet almost. Then he walked away and it just kept dripping out of him My poor little angel. So then we go into one of the rooms and the doctor comes in and I explain everything to him and he took the little stick thing and took a stool sample. He noticed right away that his stool was VERY hard.He then went on to tell me that Stedman needed an enema.....and a catheter So I went in and paid my $400 bill and then the vet asked to speak to me. He told me that they did the enema and cleaned out his entire colon and that it was completely empty now. He said that the catheter went in fine so that was good news. He then said that he wanted me to come in the back with him because he wanted to show me the x-rays. First, he showed me some spots on the x-rays where they found round things in Stedman's colon. He said that these things were very, very hard and he honestly didn't know what they were. Possibly something that Stedman ate but obviously he couldn't ever pass them. The only thing I can possibly think of is something that he could have found outside at my mom's house when we were over there Saturday night, which is when this whole thing started. Stedman NEVER used to chew on things but Tatum taught him that, so now every once in a while he'll find things on chew on them. We really don't know if that's what it was but can't think of anything else. Then he flipped to another x-ray and the first thing out of his mouth was, "Now I don't want to scare you...." - ok well, THAT SCARED ME. When someone tells you that they don't WANT to scare you, they usually do So Stedman has to go back in next week (on Wednesday) because he wants to check him out again and see how everything looks. He said that he DOES have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). He is on antibiotics and also some stuff called Laxatone (it's in a tube just like Nutri-Cal and you give it to them the same way as Nutri-Cal) to help him go to the bathroom (bowel movement). He said that he SHOULD have a bowel movement within 1-2 days but if he doesn't then he needs to see him again right away. I am just really worried about that spot that he found that he showed me on the x-rays. He seemed concerned about it but I know he was trying his best not to scare me. He is just the SWEETEST vet anyone could ever ask for. I just love him. He is a recent graduated of Texas A&M and is just absolutely wonderful. Anyway, I am so worried but as he said, we just have to keep a close eye on it. I hope that it is nothing worse and I hope and pray to God that Stedman doesn't need surgery That is the update for now and I will be sure to let everyone here know if anything should change. Right now I just want to go hug my little boy. We've both had such a long day and he has been through alot
