| Tapeworms!!! Baxter has tapeworms. He does not have fleas but I suspect he was bitten by one at the vet's. He was just neutered last week and now is having some blood in his stool and keeps chewing at his rear!! The vet says he's chewing because the worms are crawling around in his rectum!! The horror of it all. He has different worms back in March. I hope this will be our final bout with worms. He did great with the neuter surgery. This is bothering him worse than that. |

| Oh no, poor Baxter. I hope he's worm free, so to speak, in no time. Glad his neuter surgery went well for both of you. Please let us know how he's doing. "Get Well Soon" Baxter.

| You really need to check him good for fleas because they get tapeworm from ingesting a flea. They usually do that because they are chewing on themselves where they feel the flea. Chachi had them once. The vet will give you meds that will clear it right up

| I hate those things. We have never had a problem with fleas until this year. I think Kayla got a flea when she was spayed. Anyway they can give you a pill that will clear it right up. Ususally with tapeworms you see them on their hair and look like rice when they come out in sections. |

| He gave me the Droncit for him and for our outside dog. I thought he got bitten by a flea not that he bit the flea! I bet he ate one at the vet. I brush him thoroughly every night and so far no fleas. i know we will eventually have to deal with them. |
