| Sorry......Have to get this off my chest S. says: I have evil neighbors ****Really??? S. says: So one day I was outside and I noticed one of them loose, so i called it and it came to me ****Would your precious Yorkie go up to a stranger? Mine would. S. says: When she came to me she didn't walk right everytime she would try to run her two front legs would slip out from underneath her,and she vomitted quite often which was usually bubbly and white - I have had her about a month ****(she was probably HOME sick) Think about it! I'd puke too!!!! ****Why hadn't she already taken her to the vet if she was so concerned? ****This person has already had her a month --- then she becomes dehydrated A reply: so the neighbors really done some damage to her ****Says who? A theif! S. says: she is a female yorkie between about 8yrs old and 11 ****She is between 8 & 11, (just a lil ole lady) - not quite as limber or agile as she used to be, Now snatched from the only home she knows. S. says: age 16 ****Actually 19, since she was born in 1986 A reply: But from what you discribed this poor baby comes from a puppymill. and Its obvious if the owner is only down the block and you have her baby she really doesn't give a damn (sorry) you did her a favor by taken her problem off her hands! **** Give me a break. A puppymill. (Psst: She is between 8 & 11) A reply: I would hate for those neighbors to get their hands on the dog again- what is the other yorkie doing they have to be awefully lonesome for each other. ****No doubt they are lonesome for eachother S. says: Well the other dog, well one time she got loose also she became my mini-me her name was pippi, loved her to death, my moms b/f accidently let her out and they wound up getting her, she got loose from them again, i got her again, she got loose again from my house through a hole in our privacy back fence, and of course they had to be outside when she got loose, so they have had her since, thats been about a month or so, so if i ever happen to get her back im gonna chip her ****She sounds imprisioned (The poor lil ole lady) ****She found an out and she ran as fast as she could "HOME" S. says: they will NEVER GET HER BACK ****Does she live near any of you? ****I sure wouldn't want her living on my road A reply: but TECHNICALLY you could be considered a theif, both by the cops and the people that actually own the dog. ****Hmmmm? A reply: They sound terrible ****Says who? S.? A theif! A reply: I feel so sad for both of those puppys but at least the one you have will live out there live in a loving home, I would go steal the other one so the can be together and it dont get beat on. ****I feel very sad for them too. ****They have apparently lived long lives - they cant be that mistreated. ****Come-on. Buy your own!!!!!!!! But then..... ****Maybe she is watching one of ours. S. says: The animal shelter "wont" do anything,i do appreciate the advice about calling them and asking them the laws i will have to do that. But other than that they dont care about your pets really, they like to find them on the streets and then fine you money, but they are not really animal people, like i said the town i live in they are all crooks ****She hadn't even contacted the animal shelter yet. ****Now that's funny. They are all CROOKS S. says: but at least i saved one and I AM AFTER THE OTHER ONE AGAIN!!!!!!!! And i will get her b4 long hehe. ****That's just scary. ****Who is this person? S. says: No the vet that i have been taken her to has not done any xrays though now that i think about it he should have, i will have my mom ask him that at her checkup. ****my mom - How old is she? Does she even know? A reply: If you report the dog as found to the police and the local shelters in this country ( England) After 9 days the dog becomes legally yours. ****Boy, I'm glad she knows this. I'm glad the whole Yorkie world knows this. S. says: I have not yet got to call the animal shelter b/c they are not open on sats or sundays but i will be sure to call them tomorrow, wish the rules were like that here i would have tons of stolen dogs lol thanks again ****She hadn't even called. She already stated The animal shelter wont do anything ****The fact that they aren't open on Saturdays or Sundays has nothing to do with it. She'd already had the (poor, lonely, lil ole lady) a month. ******* This whole thread really bothers me. It bothers me because no one defended the yorkie owner. No one said "How dare you!" No one put themselves in the owners shoes. Maybe the owners did post signs...put ads out...Cry night and day. Was she going to tell you? I think NOT! This person learned everything she needed to know. ****Have you heard from her since?**** *******I'm truly sorry if I have offended anyone. Just read between the lines. Please......Read the whole thread ... Inside and out. This story of hers gave me chills from the gate. She stole someones Yorkie (Coulda been mine.....Coulda been yours) and has no intension of giving it back.******** |

| I agree with you. This story did not make sense to me at all. Besides the fact that she has stolen the neighbours dogs on more than one occasion I got the distinct impression that she doesn't have a clue about how to care for them. I also believe that she is likely under the age of 18. Unfortunately she did not provide anyone with even a name of the town she lives in, the town full of crooks. Had she done so we might at least be able to contact the shelter there and see what if anything could be done. |

| I agree with you! She did steal that dog. If she was concern about the dog's welfare, she'd find some sort of rescue group and turn it over rather then keeping it for herself and not caring for it properly. With each story, there is always two sides to it, and if you look at the legal side of it, she stole it. If they really didnt care about the dog's well being, why didnt she just go knock on their door and ask to have the dog that they didnt really care about.

| I agree with you about: "This is a rather strange story. I just feel sorry for that poor little Yorkie." I have two at home and they each would be sooooooooooo lonely without the other one! That little Yorkie girl is probably sooooooooooooooo sad for her buddy... |

| This sounds simular to the little girl that had the dog that was sick and the grandpa or dad (or someone was going to shoot it).. It all just doesnt add up to me (in my opinion)... No offense to anyone. |

| I remember once a long time ago reading a thread about a Yorkie who was found and kept w/out trying to find the true owners. This thread reminds me somewhat of it... It is just not right to claim something that isn't rightfully yours. The Yorkie's have (real) owners and just as children, just because you suspect abuse/neglect you can't just "take" them. You have to go through the proper channels and put your emotions aside. Situations like these need to be handled in a legal manner. I hope this story has a happy ending for these two little Yorkies.

| I do not know what to make of this story. I do find it odd that nobody has come looking for their little dog if they are neighbors. BUT, this girl did post on general recently, I think the thread title was Snickers update. |
