Susie...I feel so bad you're having such a hard time with your recovery. I will pray that they can fix whatever it is that's causing you the terrible pain. *HUG* That picture of Tink just made me smile! Bless her sweet heart...and yours too! |
Susie, I am so very sorry you are in such pain. I hope that the doctors can help you. I suffered a great deal of pain after my surgery and they determined that it was "nerve pain" and were able to prescribe meds that managed it. You and Tink are in my heart  and prayers :hands: ... sending hugs :ghug: |
Susie you and Tink are always in my thoghts and prayers.(((((((HUGS))))))) |
Thank you for the update .... I have gotten so far behind. I am so happy that little Tink is continuing to improve! Susie, I will continue to keep you in my prayers [Tink too]! I believe that God will heal you both!! |
Susie, I am soooo sorry your recovery is not going as well as expected. I hope things get better for you soon! We ALL miss you but you take care of YOU and we'll always be here for you when you and Tink are able to feel normal again. Pain is sooo stressful and tiring! Take care, my friend!:bighug::bighug: |
I am so sorry to see your still in so much pain Susie. Prayer's coming the doctor's can get to the bottom of why and relieve it for you so you can start gaining your strengh back. Bless Tink's heart. What a trooper she is, Susie. You must be so proud of her. She looks so comfy lying there and peacefull too. Hugs to both of you and keep the chin up. It's just gotta get better for you. |
Susie -- You hang in there. I just know that you and Tink are both going to do well again. I am so sorry that it is so difficult for you. We are continuing to pray and send happy thoughts in abundance. And even some sloppy Yorkie kisses from the Ozman. |
Wishing you luck tomorrow at your appointment. ;) thanks for the update |
Susie, I hope they're able to help you with the pain while you're at the hospital. I think about you and Tink all the time. I'm so happy to that Tink is doing better and making progress! Bless her heart, she is a fighter, isn't she?! I'll be holding you both in my prayers. Tammy |
Have they tried epidural injections?? I wish things were going better for you. I am so glad that Tink is coming along, I believe that she will continue to suprise everyone!!! |
Oh Susie - I, along with everyone else here, hope they find out how to relieve your pain ASAP. Thanks so much for taking the time to update us. I'm so happy that Tink is continuing her improvement! That is wonderful. Hopefully, soon, we will be hearing about how much better YOU are doing, too. Hang in there my friend Blessings |
Hi everyone! I came home Wednesday after 3 more days in the hospotal trying to get the pain under control. I'm doing pretty well now. I don't even want to tell you what we are doing to keep me mobile and smi-alert. You do not want to know! I started back to work - from home - today in an attempt to work up my strength and stamina at sitting. So far I can do 15 minutes sitting at a time and then stand and walk for about 10 and then back to sitting. It's not alot, but it's something. So, I'm going to try to increase the time by posting on YT for a little each evening. Tinkerbelle my darling is the same today as she has been for the week. She is such a little lover girl. She wants to snuggle all the time and her licker is completely out of control!;) She is having some trouble with her bowels. They had firmed up good (which is easier to deal with) but now for some reason they are getting very soft. Nothing has changed in her diet so we are just keeping an eye on her and keeping a diaper on her all the time again. I know it will get better so I'm not going to worry (much). She seems to have an idea when she is having a BM now cause she will stop what she's doing and turn her head to look at her butt! It's so cute. If something comes out she makes this little whiney noise like teenagers do when they're annoyed - kind-of like she's saying - "Oh good grief!" OK - time to stop now. Gotta get up and walk around and get some drugs. Thanks everyone for continuing to check on us and pray for us and post your thots. Tomorrow I'm gonna work on the pics of the things Tink got when I was in hospital and her many FROGS! Bye for now. |
WOW, I logged on to check your thread and here you are! It is so good to hear that you are improving... Blessings to you for your hard work! Special Puppy Prayers out to little Tink.... here's to hoping she continues to improve! d |
Glad to hear the both of you are improving, Susie. This is a slow journey to wellness, isn't it? Thinking of you and Tink. Warmly, Deborah and Uncle Charlie |
Thank you for the update. You are both in my thoughts and prayers all the time. :) |
I am so happy to find this update! I have been praying for you and for little Tink and I know you both will continue to improve! God bless you both. |
Thank you for the update! Glad to hear that Tink is doing well and that her spirit has pulled through! The thing with bowel incontinence is that you notice every little change in their bm. To this day there are times when Bernie has to be diapered, then after a couple of days he gets his firm stools and most of his control back. Never have figured out why. Believe me, we do not mess with his diet. The last time I did, we regretted it for days. I'm saying this to say that the change in her bm might not mean anything significant. Bernie sends hugs to his favorite girl. :) I'm sorry to hear that your recovery is not going great. But it's good news that something seems to be working a bit. I hope that the Dr. is able to figure this out soon! Susie, know that while we can't help with the pain you have a lot of poeple pulling for you. |
Dear Susie and Tink...Thrilled to hear and see that you have been back and posting, sorry I missed you. Do the doctors think your pain is from the position they put you in for surgery? I've heard this happens sometimes. How about acupuncture? Do you think this could possibly help? I imagine the pain is neuralgia...nerve pain...and it is definitely intense without a doubt. Hope whatever it is they are doing for you...gives you relief. Now, about Tink...she moved her tail and foot. What a huge step in the right direction. This little girl has an inner strength like no other and a heart of gold. She's going to pull through this, without a doubt...she is so darned determined. Love the pic of her sleeping so soundly in her froggie jammies. She really does seem so content. And her looking at her butt when she poops is like she knows what she's doing and is trying so hard to figure out how to control it...you just wait and see...she'll figure it out. Sending a gazillion happy thoughts your way...and just as many prayers. Keep up the good work...both of you!!! You can and will do this, I just have total confidence and faith. HUGS!!! |
Susie ... What an update! So good to see you posting again. I hope you will feel better VERY soon. Poor Tink. At least it's not the worst thing that could happen. :) Continuing to pray for you both. |

Guess What!!!!!!!! ARE YOU READY???!!! SIT DOWN QUICKLY!!!! Tink moved both of her back legs in the pool today. And not just a little bit either, not fast but definitely good movement. The therapist called me on her cell phone and she was crying! I thot something awful had happened but she was just overcome with joy.:) She said that the sky is the limit now! She said there is no reason to think Tink will not walk again very soon. She is just amazed. Peter called me a little while ago and said that he thinks she can come home in a few weeks with this kind of progress. If I can get my own pain under control without so many drugs, this can happen and I'll be soooooo happy. I need to be able to care for her without second guessing myself and able to balance so I can not be afraid of falling or tripping over her. YIPPEE!!!!!!! I am so happy - just a little scared but soooooo happy. God is sooooo good to me to let me have her even without the hope of her being able to walk and now it looks like I get the best of it all for her! Thanks God! |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ml#post2067777 OK, I finally got something posted listing the gifts Tink and I got while she and I were in hospital. I know some things were missed but please know that I appreciate everything that was and is still being done for us. Hugs to all of you! |
