| Well it seems that Lucy is stoned on muscle relaxers LOL She's not in very much pain, but she's stumbling all over. I'm not to give her the pain pills or muscle relaxers tonight. He will call me again in the morning to see how she is doing. |

| OH I am so sorry to hear of you baby getting injured.. Please find out if these docs are doing digital xrays or not.. That was the difference in Diagnosing Babybear's broken neck.. My vet didn't have a digital xray machine the doctor i took babybear to for a second opinion did. My vet misdiagnosed BB with livershunts when he really had a broken neck.. So please find out.. Make sure they check the neck very closely..Please be adiment about it.. As you can tell there is a difference in xray machines and it could be the difference in you baby's care also.. My pup ended up having a congenital defect in his neck we knew nothing about.. Called Atlantoaxial Instability and circling can be a sign, cocking the head to one side is another sign of this and also crying in pain when you can not find where they are hurt is another sign.. Sorry I had a bad time with Babybear if you read his story on his dogster page you will see why I am telling you this.. His web page addy is http://www.dogster.com/dogs/136060 there is information on there read his diary if you have a minute.. you might have more questions for your vet after reading Babybear's page.. you really need to be your pups voice if not then sometimes you never find out what is going on.. I will keep your baby in my thoughts and prayers.. gentle belly rubs

| She is much better today. Thank you!!! She can turn her head much better now, but her gait is still pretty uneven. I gave her the meds last night anyway, because I felt so bad for her. She looked so terrible. I gave her the meds again this morning, even though she seemed better. I want to keep her comfortable today and then tonight I won't give her the muscle relaxer and see how she does through the night. I expect that she's on the way to recovery now. |

| It wasn't a good idea to not give her the meds last night. She woke up with spasms this morning, so it was back to the vet for another injection of opiates and addtional meds to last at least throught the weekend. I may have to take her to Detroit for an MRI. |
